Syntony Creations creates economic, social and environmental gains

Syntony Creations are not “products” but crystallized stories: Stories of struggle and possibility, learning and accomplishment, suffering and love, hard-work and hope for a better future.  We collaborate with social workers, volunteers, community organizers, and individuals in need – to bring to you the opportunity to show your care and make a difference. Your purchase of one of these beautiful creations is a statement of solidarity with their less advantageous life conditions as well as a promise to be part of the solution to bring about an economically, socially and environmentally sustainable world for all.

These recycled food wrapper bags are meticulously made by a group of individuals who are interns in the Centers for Social Rehabilitation in the state of Veracruz, on the Gulf of Mexico. Syntony Quest has created a partnership with the government of Veracruz. The partnership involves exporting the bags to North America in order to expand the demand of their products. Syntony Quest will provide fair wages for their work and educational opportunities to improve their products, their craft, their local communities and their natural environment. Our objective is to increase their economic opportunities, allowing them to earn a fair living wage as a first step to helping them improve their quality of life through the creation of useful and aesthetic objects from waste material that otherwise would contaminate our environment. A nonprofit organization will be created to hire the interns when they leave the prision in order to provide dignified work and education to support a new begining in their lives since they will face disadvantaged conditions and discrimination as they attempt to reintegrate to society.
